Robert J. Farley

Attorney

Robert J. Farley has spent his entire legal career defending individual and corporate clients in actions where claims of significant injuries or death to persons from faulty premises, medical/hospital malpractice and nursing home malpractice have been asserted. He comes to Parsky & Galloway, LLC, in Chicago, with decades of experience in the trial and pretrial discovery for those matters in New York City, as the founding and senior partner of his firm.

When his 6-lawyer firm merged, he came to Chicago and was an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Illinois in their Tort and Court of Claims unit. He defended State employees and State Agencies against claims for significant injuries which were the result of alleged negligence by his clients. He also mentored younger attorneys as they travelled through their legal careers.

Mr. Farley has lectured extensively on jury trials and statutes and their effect on the practice of medicine and premises conditions. He has argued cases at trial and on appeal before both State and Federal Courts.

At Parsky & Galloway, LLC his practice will be concentrated in tort and premises liability defense. He is also a private pilot and holds the most advanced amateur radio license.
