Assunta Karris has spent twenty plus years practicing law in the private sector. Over the years Ms. Karris has developed skills as a civil trial and appellate attorney. She has been involved in all aspects of cases from initial client interviews to preparing complaints and pleadings, discovery, taking depositions of parties and experts, arguing motions in court, negotiating settlements, preparing for, and taking cases to trial and appellate practice.

When Ms. Karris is not busy practicing law, she enjoys spending time outside running and bike riding. She also loves to spend time with her husband and three sons, watching them participate in band, basketball, soccer, swimming and volleyball or whatever new activity they take on.
